The Razzbarry Records Power pop outfit The Great Transparency finished the year of 2009 strong completing 2 regional U.S. tours, including one with White Collar Side Show, and making several festival appearances (Rock Fest, Vertical Fest). In addition to a full touring schedule the band also released their first single "Run For It" from the album "if worse comes to worst" which Jesusfreakhideout.com calls "catchy… enjoyable… impressive" and has since garnered airplay from such top stations as M88, Yes FM, Blast Fm, Remdey FM, Whip of Cords, Sound of Light, WJTL/purple door radio, The Current and Christianrock.net.

All of this added up to make 2009 a pretty amazing year for the band and thus far 2010 has been no different. Riding out their momentum from late 2009, The Great Transparency kicked off the new year playing to a crowd of nearly 900 as the band opened for Kutless (BEC) then hit the road again for a winter tour with Satelites and Sirens (Word) as well as a two week stint out on their own for the "South for the Win-Tour." But this was just the beginning as the band gears up for the 2010 festival season and continues to promote their latest single "don't you ever" from there current EP "if worse comes to worst" which was released to National Radio on March 26.

As for the summer Festival season the band is slated to appear for the following dates.

Crossfest (Lewiston MN) June 26
Lifest (Oshkosh WI) July 8
Soulfest (Gilford NH) Aug 6
Stand 2010 (Ravenna OH) Sept 25

The rest of 2010 appears to have a lot in store for the band as well as they plan to head back into the studio to complete work on a new album which they hope to release before the end of the year. The band has also begun booking dates for 6 weeks this fall for their "Big ol' circle around America tour" and rumors are even circulating about a possible worship project which may be in the works. But as always, it is their love for people and for what they do that keeps the band pushing ahead, "There has been no greater time than now, in these turbulent and uncertain times, to go out, encourage and reach people of all ages where they are with this message. It's the Hope that can only be found in Jesus Christ," says TGT front man Jeremiah Wagner. Their high energy live show has earned them opportunities to share the stage with the respected talents of such acts as Kutless, Satelites and Sirens, Seabird, Eleventy Seven, Manic Drive, Hello Kelly, White Collar Side Show, KJ52, Pillar, Run Kid Run, The Wedding, Luminate, John Reuben, House of Heroes, Abandon Kansas, Last Tuesday, Code of Ethics, Sherwood, Kevin Max, Stellar Kart, Spoken, Staple, Day of Fire, Remedy Drive, Joy Electric After Edmund. and more.
